What is a ‘Partner Proposition’?
-
It’s a relationship with another business to give more value to our customers. This could be through a brand, a journey, a technology, a channel, a product or service, an initiative or event.
-
It’s not procurement or supplier management. The final detailed customer proposition won’t be known from the very beginning. It starts with seeing a potential alignment & ‘fit’ a partner has with the Eon Next brand and purpose, and having a mutual customer. Then it’s about finding and developing something unique that cannot be realistically created by us or the partner separately.
Who are you? What do you need to be able to show you can do?
Generally, you have been working in B2B(2C) client-facing product-proposition roles, to develop something that creates value for a client and a mutual customer.
More specifically, you would be able to;
-
Understand product-proposition-innovation lifecycle management, including innovation-disruption approaches and curves, and making new (previously unseen) connections.
-
Create compelling visions of concepts, ideas and roadmaps of change, starting with MVP. You constantly re-challenge the status quo, seeing across current boundaries.
-
Develop mass-market product-propositions in Financial Services (Payments) markets and regulation, in particular monthly payment consumer credit constructs.
-
Develop and managing relationships with marque-national (global with UK subsidiary) brands and companies.
-
Understand commercial factors such as volumes, revenue, margins, cost bases, and create business cases for new product-propositions and to enhance existing ones.
-
Analyse and combine market data, financials, customer insight, technology and macro-trends to understand true customer need into B2C and or B2B2C propositions.
-
Work alone after a high level direction or requirement, manage the ambiguity and have the right level of auditability in the directions and decisions you make. And, manage the pressures and deadlines that are part of responding to a competitive and complex market.
-
Manage pre D&C-suite stakeholders through building relationships with key functional areas including IT, Go-to-Market and Operations and marshalling alignment to shared objectives.
-
Marshall change to keep the touchpoints that solve customer needs and wants aligned, so the customer journey is seamless, simple and convenient.
-
Stay culturally and strategically aware – role-model and advocate corporate direction, ways of working, managing and collaborating with colleagues. You will inspire others to think and act differently, and they will want to play a part in delivering your compelling vision of the future.
-
travel (as needed, but not expected to be more than once a fortnight) to various E.ON (Next) and client-partner sites, typically in the UK.
