In this role, you will… manage global learning projects from start to finish to ensure objectives are achieved according to defined success measures. You will manage comprehensive project plans, identify risks, and manage resources using defined project management processes. You will work closely with your project team, lead status meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders. What you’ll do: Responsibilities

Deliver Project Management Services

  • Responsible for the effective project management and delivery execution of large Enterprise Learning projects
  • Create and manage a comprehensive project plan
  • Monitor project progress including identifying risks and initiating corrective action to minimize issues
  • Measure project performance using project management tool
  • Prepare status reports by analyzing and summarizing relevant information
  • Establish a project communication plan and ensure the execution
  • Work within standard processes and templates

Lead a Project Team

  • Lead the project team from initial project identification through project closure
  • Create a team environment that promotes high performance
  • Facilitate project status meetings, direct the project team and recognize achievements
  • Act as a point of escalation for team members
  • Handle team adversity in a suitable manner
  • Manage the quality of project team deliverables

Partner with Stakeholders

  • Maintain project stakeholder involvement, motivation and support
  • Actively listen, understand and respond to stakeholders
  • Provide regular status updates to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Obtain approvals on project change requests so all stakeholders are informed of the impacts
  • Obtain acceptance of completed projects and capture lessons learned

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

A college degree is great but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don’t have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes
  • Experience in project management or related field
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, and cloing projects
  • Ability to interface with and present to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage across formal organizational lines
  • Collaborative approach to work
  • PMP or eqivalent professional project management certification

Bonus points for these:

  • Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies
  • Experience in Learning & Development, human resources or organizational development
  • Change management certification
  • Ability to facilitate project meetings in multiple langugaes
