Main Purpose

  • Follow the agreed team processes.
  • Responsible for the effective delivery of service to all internal/external customers.
  • Participate in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the team as directed by the Team Leader.

Core Responsibilities

  • Action invoices and credit notes in accordance with Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
  • Send queries using electronic authorisation system.
  • Continuously look to improve Invoice Automation rates.
  • Liaise with Purchasing, suppliers, internal and external customers to resolve invoice queries.
  • Continual review and update of internal processes and procedures.
  • Working with the team to achieve set objectives/targets.

Compliance:

  • Comply with the best practice for the team within Financial Operations.
  • Participate in day-to-day operation of the team as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Responsible for the effective delivery of service to internal and external customers.
  • Comply with Service Level Agreements, Task Level Descriptions (TLD’s) and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Comply with the appropriate control and audit mechanisms in line with the Company policy.
  • Liaison with internal customers, group finance, internal and external auditors and others as required.
  • Deliver a strong customer focus and quality service as part of the team.

  • Contribute to the overall achievement of the organisations aims and objectives.
  • Ensure full participation at team meetings.

Other Duties

  • The post holder will be expected to undertake any task consistent with the post that may be required by the business.
  • The post holder will be encouraged to recommend and be involved in the implementation of process changes to deliver continuous improvement of standard processes.
