Location: Cromwell Hospital, Cromwell Rd, London SW5 0TU

Vacancy: Full Time, Permanent, Night & Day Shift on 4 on and 4 of Rota Pattern

Salary Banding: £41,000 – £47,000per annum + fantastic benefits

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and efficient Multi-Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical background to join us.

Your role will be to ensure all Cromwell Hospital Buildings, Plant and Equipment provide a safe environment for Patients, Staff and Visitors. To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and repairs to ensure the Hospitals buildings are statutory compliant and fit for purpose.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out repairs, minor planned installations and maintenance work on a wide range of Equipment, Services
  • Play key role in the delivery of planned preventative maintenance regime as instructed by the Helpdesk and/or Line Manager.
  • To perform day to day maintenance on the Hospitals assets.
  • To undertake technical tasks according to training and ability. E.g., electrical inspection and testing, act as authorised/responsible person for relevant disciplines.
  • Monitor performance of hospital’s mechanical and electrical plant/systems/controls.

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical or mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven work experience in the Electrical department or any construction company
  • Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other technical departments.
