OVO uses Salesforce to improve customer journeys making them better for our people and customers. Your role will be to continually enhance, improve and drive better outcomes and support the interaction of other systems across the organisation to drive efficiency and effectiveness..

This role in a nutshell:

This role is part of a team at the heart of improving and enhancing our Salesforce Platform. You’ll help build and maintain the current solution whilst following standard processes and using current features to enhance and enrich the end users day to day functionality using Best practices. You’ll have a higher knowledge of Salesforce and provide support to the internal team as well as be an advocate to the business of the platform.

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Serving as a system administrator for Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud,
  • Effectively act as the liaison between users, vendors, and development teams;
  • Assist / Lead on reviews, analysis, and development of existing system solutions;
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, verifiable and scalable;
  • Use simple techniques to define as-is and to-be process and data flows and solutions, to Business users and other IT team members;
  • Identify existing and upcoming features and standard processes to ensure maximum value of Salesforce platform;
  • Build reports or template mock-ups and requirements based on enterprise reporting needs;
  • Design and configure Salesforce UI to meet business requirements.
  • Researching and implementing Salesforce out-of-the-box features to drive improvements and innovations on our Agent Desktop platform
  • Help to build and test automation (including Flow)
  • Preparation of documentation to be stored in a central location and managed as this will be used by the business for training purposes
  • Contribute to refinement sessions where requirements are translated into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on user experience
  • Contribute to any future Salesforce setup
  • Daily Salesforce admin tasks
  • Leading the licences / onboarding and offboarding
  • Customising Salesforce (within Admin expectation) to fit the organisation’s processes
  • Able to view plan and deploy balanced processes
  • Securing Salesforce to ensure users only see the information that is appropriate for their job role
  • Importing data
  • Training people how to use Salesforce accurately
  • Solving problems when they arise

Systems: Salesforce, JIRA

You’ll be a successful Senior Salesforce Administrator here at OVO if you…

  • Have proven experience in a Senior Salesforce Administrator role (3-4 years)
  • Have demonstrable experience working ideally with Salesforce Service cloud but experience in other cloud modules within Salesforce will be appropriate.
  • Are comfortable in an ever changing environment – you’re flexible and adaptable
  • Are Salesforce certified – this would be a huge plus!
  • Are confident thinking on your feet and adapting as appropriate
  • Have experience using JIRA or a similar ticketing system
  • Have a solid understanding of Salesforce.com implementation, customizations and configuration
  • Are comfortable being visible and interacting with Senior people across the business
  • Fully understand test environment and release processes
  • Are a strong communicator, comfortable working with others to understand their requirements

We’ll pay you between £45,000 and £55,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
