Are you passionate about ensuring safety and excellence in construction? We’re looking for a Construction Safety Advisor to join our dynamic B2B team!
In this role, you’ll be a key partner, providing dedicated guidance and expertise on Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) to our Construction and Projects Teams within B2B Solutions.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll collaborate closely to drive HSSE compliance across our projects, working primarily remotely but with travel across the UK to our active construction sites, where you’ll deliver on-site SHEQ support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise support to B2B Solutions construction and Operations and Maintenance Activities.
- Support the business to carry out risk assessments of new/existing work activities and development of risk control measures appropriate to the level of risk.
- Provide support and advice in emergency response and incident investigation.
- Provide support to incident investigations and approve completed incident investigations on the company incident database.
- Ensure relevant incidents are reported to the HSE and Environment Agency as per legal requirements.
- Attend operational meetings and provide Safety advice as required.
- Support production of safety communications and briefings – raise awareness, key learning’s, culture and behavioural focus.
- Perform HSSE focused horizontal and vertical audits.
- Ensure performance updates / reports are provided for leadership teams as required.
What we need from you
What we need from you
- NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Certificate and /or equivalent.
- A proven ability to provide advice on Safety / HSSE at operational levels/ department activities to a successful conclusion.
- Knowledge of current policies and procedures which affect the HSSE management of the business.
- Knowledge of general safety standards which affect the management of the RUUK business.
- Proven ability to identify and analyse situations by isolating key issues, evaluating relevant data and drawing appropriate conclusions.
