Experienced Administrator for our Academic Team
QA Higher Education
London, hybrid working mainly working from home.
Do you have strong administration experience ideally within the education sector (preferred) or within a busy back-office function where organisation and communication are key? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
About our role: As Faculty Administrator, you will enjoy supporting the Academic Team in the day-to-day running of the Campus bringing excellent office and administration skills. Your role will be vital to help us develop University and QA Higher Education relationships to ensure that processes and procedures are accurately managed to support academic progression, attendance, compliance, student support and communications.
Good IT, Word and Excel skills a MUST
Here’s a flavour of what’s involved:
Carrying out audit checks on Solent pages to ensure that Solent Registry Team have created the module pages for- the upcoming new semester, ensuring they have the correct start and end dates.
Sending comms to Solent Registry Team to ask them to create the submission links for modules and ensuring that these have been created including (first sit and resits) and that they have the correct submission deadlines.
Ensuring that the submission links are opened and made visible 2 weeks before the submission deadline.
Carrying out audit checks to ensure module leaders have made the resit assessment briefs available on their respective module pages by week 12.
Setting Up Groups on Schedular and the Submission Links for Modules that have Group Assessments
Carrying out audit checks to ensure that module leaders conducted Standardisation with their respective Teaching Teams before marking commences and reported Suspected cases of Academic Misconduct and reverting the outcome of the audit to the Heads of Year
Collating expense claim for sessional lecturers re: Standardisation, Marking & Moderation
Collating the Moderation forms from Solent and saving them on a folder
Collating the Summary of Adjustments from the Welfare Team and saving them on a folder
Update the BSc Course page with materials.

Bring your experience:
Sound administrative experience preferably within the education sector.
Experience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale.
Experience of managing and prioritising workload
Excellent communication skills
Excellent literacy, numerical skills and Excel skills
Team player
Flexible and adaptable to change.
Well organised and methodical
