Experience, skills, and qualifications required:
To handle the day-to-day demands working at HKIA, we require the following:
– Current employment as a full-time operational Air Traffic Control Officer at a busy international airport for the last 3 years, and handling more than 600 movements per day
– Hold a valid Air Traffic Controller licence for at least 5 years with either:
Approach Control Surveillance (APS) rating (including departures, arrivals, and final approach director endorsements)
And / Or
Aerodrome Control Instrument (ADI) rating (including air controller (AIR) and Ground Movement Controller (GMC) endorsements)
– Able to demonstrate ICAO English level 4 or above.
Additional Information:
For successful candidates that meet the criteria above, the interview process will be:
Stage 1 – Virtual competency-based interviews, and online skills assessment.
Stage 2 – In-country SIM assessments covering a Tower or Approach based Scenario
Subject to your availability, the NATS team will advise on available dates for SIM assessment (note – we do still have availability for Sep/Oct 2024).
