Job Purpose:
To develop, implement, maintain, and support all systems and supporting processes across NATS Supply Chain and Facilities Management departments. To be the Business Process Expert for all systems in use across both departments, the role is responsible for delivering new systems and system upgrades along with associated process improvements in line with the Supply Chain and Facilities Management digital strategies.
To analyse and manage the systems within scope to enable NATS’ staff to carry out the process of ordering, buying from approved contracts, invoicing, and paying online, facilitate the use of catalogue purchasing, asset lifecycle management, scheduling engineering tasks, electronic tendering, and e-auctions with accurate and flexible reporting.
Other duties include:
- Business Process Expert for all Supply Chain and Facilities Management systems and processes
- Project Manage the introduction, delivery, development and implementation of new systems, technologies, tools, and upgrades
- Provide expert knowledge and advice to the development of the Supply Chain and FM digital strategies; elicit requirements from stakeholders across the business and ensure these too are reflected in the digital strategies
- Ensure training, advice and guidance material is available for all systems; creating, developing, and delivering these resources where needed
- Communicate actively with users across the business and at all levels over changes to the technology and related processes
- Ensure integrity of data within the Supply Chain and Facilities Management systems and actively manage master data
- Undertake detailed analysis using data held across supply chain and FM systems
- Set up, manage, and maintain electronic catalogues and oversee any supplier self-managed catalogue updates
- Create, develop, and publish functional reporting across reporting systems such as PowerBI and SharePoint
- Undertake systems audits, including user access and compliance to functional processes
Essential skills and experience:
- Qualified to Degree level
- Professional qualifications in Supply Chain or Facilities Management are highly desirable
- Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Facilities Management professional with knowledge and experience of FM and Supply Chain processes including requisition to pay cycle, routes to market including P-Cards and e-sourcing, maintenance scheduling, task allocation and ALM
- Expert understanding of Ariba, SAP and FM systems and a detailed understanding of ERP / data warehouse applications
- Extensive experience of data analysis and reporting
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including project management
- Effective communicator able to work with both user communities and technical teams
