NATS Services, part of the NATS Group is now entering an important phase of their strategy to provide technology enabled services to all new airspace users. This phase will establish routes to market and accelerate technology enablement by developing strategic partners and collaborations.
The Consultant has a responsibility to grow and develop potential NATS-wide business opportunities and revenue. You will deliver a range of consultancy products and services developing resourcing solutions from internal and external sources which meet the client’s requirements and align with NATS’ Commercial targets.
Other duties include:
- Offer solutions to support commercial bids and customer requests.
- Plan, manage and evaluate full lifecycle delivery of all assignments in order to deliver client outcomes and meet targets
- Maintain effective working relationships key stakeholders within the wider NATS Group and client sponsors in order to meet contracted costs and dates.
- Maintain knowledge of the product and services catalogue and the emerging R&I to package solutions appropriately and provide customers with a clear vision of future possibilities.
- Motivate and manage the performance of direct and indirect reports to deliver required results.
- Identify and establish resource requirements to ensure effective assignment completion
- Deliver increased commercial value to the business by effective cross and up-selling within client accounts
- Capture valuable capability and customer intelligence for use throughout NATS and across the Commercial organisation
- Develop, plan, and deliver a programme of work by identifying internal and external resources, meet contractual terms and regulatory safety requirements, towards business plan targets.
Essential skills and experience:
- A relevant business-based qualification at degree level or equivalent
- Good experience of consultancy and service delivery in an Air Traffic Management (ATM) and New Airspace Users (NAU) domain
- Proven skills in delivering high quality work within constrained timescales
- Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills, and a good communicator
- Collaborative working style with a clear focus on delivering outcomes
- Effective customer relationship management skills and ability to identify a client need through effective listening and questioning skills
- The ability to understand overseas markets and diverse organisations, be professional and respect individual cultural differences
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to chair and contribute to meetings ensuring the effective utilisation of resources and progress towards commercial objectives.
