Customer Service Advisor – New Business

We’re looking for authentic people with a passion for problem-solving to join our New Business team as a customer service advisor. You’ll be part of a team supporting customers at the point of their insurance purchase, delivering outstanding service and value. If you are passionate about making a difference to customers, this role will give you the scope to do just that.

Working Hours / Shift Patterns: You’ll work 37.5 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern between 08:00-19:00 Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00 Saturday, and 09:00-13:00 Sunday. You will have to work one full weekend and one Saturday in every five. If you work a weekend shift, you’ll get time off in lieu.

Location: Our fantastic Leicester office which is in the city centre and only a short walk from Leicester train station.

Training: Your in office training will last for 6 weeks. The first 3 weeks will involve both theoretical and experiential learning in the classroom. Then, in the final 3 weeks, you will move to an Academy, where you will apply your learning and begin to assist our customers with the support of our knowledgeable coaches. After your six weeks of in office training and when we feel you can work independently you will be able to move across to Hybrid working.

Our approach to Hybrid Working: With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually only have to visit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. When we organise training and events you may be required to attend in person for the duration.

Salary: Starting £23,500 plus benefits and the opportunity for further salary progression.

Joining our New Business team as a customer service advisor:

The New Business Team provides customers with new quotes, whether they’re looking for car, bike, van, home, or multi-car/bike policies. We give them all the details they need to make an informed decision, making sure they have the right cover that suits all their needs. Wherever possible, you will support customers to complete the purchase of their policy, using one of our digital products.

Training doesn’t stop once you join your team. We have a supportive development programme with a clear structure for growth within your role. You’ll develop skills to retain our customers, strengthen your negotiation skills and become an advocate of self service.
