Employee Relations Advisor

As ER Advisor you’ll be instrumental in the success of our People Team, working collaboratively with managers to provide a commercially focused service which drives employee engagement, development, productivity and retention, whilst managing employment risks.
Working closely and build relationships with our key stakeholders to support, advise and guide, developing our workforce to enable to a first-class Higher Education service.
Our Role as Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide a high-quality experience and subject matter expertise to colleagues across our business.

HR Support: Provide day-to-day high-level support and advice to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters.
Employee Relations: Work with managers to proactively manage employee relations issues effectively.
Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of People policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Training and Development: Identify HR specific training needs and support the delivery of training programs to enhance manager skills and competencies, contributing to the professional development and engagement of our workforce.
People Projects: Collaborate on People HR projects and initiatives as required.
Change Management: Support the Head of HR to manage organisation change and any TUPE activities.
Business Partnering: Collaborate and engage with management across the business, coaching, influencing, supporting and challenging, to build exceptional relationships to enable the delivery of KPI’s and the business strategy.
Bring your experience
Experience of delivering high quality customer service.
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, whilst ensuring high levels of accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to be able to develop strong working relationships both within and outside of the People division.
Emotional resilience, enthusiastic and confidence with an ardent desire to continue learning.
Strong problem-solving ability and detail-oriented approach.
Experience of using a variety of HR systems and the usual Microsoft office suite of products
Ability to always deal with sensitive and confidential issues and act with integrity and utmost confidentiality.
CIPD level 5, equivalent HR Qualification or experience
