Job Overview:
We are looking for a Feed Sector Specialist to support the delivery and maintenance of training activities within Training Services. You will support the Air Traffic Project Specialist team in the development and production of training materials and the delivery of Radar positions, along with supporting various other simulation activities.
As a Feed Sector Specialist, you will act as a Pseudo Controller for internal sector, Ab Initio and Unit Training as well as Military and Civil external units. You will also provide expertise to other units’ simulations when required and provide dynamic input during simulations to enhance realism.
The successful applicant will hold or may be expected to obtain additional skills subject to business requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good working knowledge of UK Air Traffic Control
- Detailed knowledge of Area/Approach Control operations and the UK airspace structure
- Sound understanding of Air Traffic Management Systems
- Knowledge of the Air Traffic Controller training programme is desirable
- Previous experience of supporting simulations is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Customer focused

This post is a shift working role based at Whiteley and attracts an Unsociable Hours Payment on top of basic salary.
All successful candidates will start on the salary of £48,933.85 and with progression and development you will increase your salary gradually to the maximum stated.
