Our Analytics team are at the core of data-driven decision-making which shapes the future of NATS and the aviation industry. This is a rare opportunity to join our award-winning team at a Management Team level.
This role will proactively drive transformation of Analytics to achieve our strategic vision faster and maximise the team’s impact, proactively identifying and actioning effective transformational changes which enhance the team’s influence. You will have experience of leading change and new ways of working to deliver tangible benefits, inspiring others to achieve this. Your expert advice, challenge, translation and leadership will ensure the team influences key decisions via powerful stories.
We’re looking for an expert communicator with proven storytelling expertise which connects and shapes analytical offerings to maximise value. You will quickly assimilate information without getting drawn into detail and communicate decisively to drive action on what truly matters. You will role-model translation from technical approaches to business impact at every stage of analytical support, from scoping requirements to deliverables. Your guidance will upskill the team and tangibly improve their communication of insight. You will simplify and collaborate to deliver optimal results via compelling visualisations and recommendations.
With excellent judgement, initiative and proven ability to influence at all levels, you will maintain relationships across a diverse spectrum. You’ll become an audible, trusted and in-demand voice and effective connector, able to represent and recommend high-level analytical support across business areas and senior managers. Within our Management Team, you will provide clear leadership alongside candid professional challenge regarding value and resourcing across our portfolio, in order to deliver in line with NATS’ priorities.
You should have a passion and track record for translating data summaries from complex environments into simple stories. You will have a deep understanding of data-driven storytelling techniques, experience in leading and substantially upskilling others and a good degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent). You will be able to quickly develop and apply a good understanding and strategic view of the aviation industry, regulatory and commercial environment and the factors which drive operational performance. Experience relating to analytical techniques and self-service data/analytics portals would be an advantage.
