The lean portfolio process is where we establish when to take technology product ideas forward, when and how we pivot and when we disinvest. As a lean portfolio manager you will play a principal role in shaping our value proposition, our tech strategy and how technology will deliver the green energy transition. You will report to the Head of Product, work closely with the Head of Engineering, Head of Data, Product Leads, Chapter Leads and Product Managers. You will have responsibility and accountability for the process components, value gained from the process components, and the supporting activities:
Process Components:
○ Own the definition, execution and ongoing evolution of the portfolio process.
○ Define and maintain a value and priority framework aligned to company strategy.
○ Facilitate and maintain strategy and objectives alignment across the portfolio.
Value from Process Components:
○ Partner with GTM and commercial teams across different product categories.
○ Ensure the portfolio structure is optimised for maximum velocity and value.
Supporting Activities:
○ Collaborate with teams on developing and implementing capacity plans.
○ Coach and help product managers prepare for investment reviews.
○ Evolve the tooling and the metrics to support the portfolio process.
○ Provide ongoing transparency of portfolio performance.
Are we the perfect match?
We’re looking for a Lean Portfolio Manager with the following experience and skills;
● 3+ years product management, agile and agile coaching experience
● 2+ years experience executing a lean portfolio management process or similar
● 2+ years experience with strategic business and IT planning and IT architecture
● 2+ years experience working with a lean canvas or a similar framework
● 2+ years experience with Asana, Jira or other portfolio management tooling
● Ability to engage and build effective relationships with teams and stakeholders
● Excellent executive level written and interpersonal communication skills
● Ability to work alone or as part of a team as required
● Relevant degree or certifications an advantage
