About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of NATS’ marketing communication strategy, through the creation, delivery and measurement of content and assets across the full marketing mix.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Content creation – create and produce well written, relevant, targeted and high quality content (case studies, blog posts, brochures, product information) and act as the first line for marketing enquiries, coordinating reports, award entries etc.
- Campaign delivery – work with the wider team to support the delivery of marketing and brand campaigns (on & offline), using various channels and formats.
- Digital marketing – support our commercial business through applying best practice, paid for social media advertising and email marketing techniques.
- Customer relationship management – work with our commercial teams to ensure alignment between marcomms and sales activities.
- Market knowledge & relationships – develop strong relations with our commercial business to build knowledge and awareness of NATS’ products and services to allow accurate and effective communications that support business growth strategy.
- Events & exhibitions – support the wider team in organising events and activities, some travel will be required.
- Brand – promote and protect our brand, providing guidance to ensure NATS is presented positively through all external touch points, and manage and develop our Brand Centre.
- Crisis communication – support the Corporate Communications team in providing a response in the event of an incident i.e., producing material at short notice, handling media enquiries with diplomacy and tact (this could involve working out of normal office hours in the event of an incident).
About you:
You’ll have previous experience in a marketing communications role(s) (in-house or agency) and excellent understanding of digital marketing in a complex, commercial environment. Other key requirements include:
- Excellent creative, writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative, collaborative mindset and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- An inquisitive mind and strong commercial acumen, with good awareness of potential opportunities.
- Proactive team player with exceptional communication skills at all levels.
- Superb influencing skills and stakeholder management ability (internal and external).
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills to support multiple projects, working to tight timescales.
