PPM Engineer- Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court – Nights

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets mainly on the Trackside environment. You’ll be working on a permanent night Sunday to Thursday pattern and in all weather. You’ll be trusted to work autonomously and relied on to make sure you always work safely. There will be a great deal of travel from station to station, so it is imperative that you have a full driver’s license
The key deliverables of this role are as follows:
– Completing preventative maintenance tasks on a nightly basis
– Experience to guide the delivery of Daily tasks in line with business expectations
– Working as part of a team and individually dependant on task
– Health and Safety awareness and practice
– Monitoring of works to ensure continued compliance
– Utilising our ServiceNow platform to update and complete visit reports
The responsibilities for this role include:
– Provide accurate site reports on completed activities to either the site SPC or your line manager
– Responsible for completion of maintenance against defined schedule
– Ensure maintenance is completed to required standard and report any issues
– Complete any administration tasks in a timely manner
– Comply with relevant QEHS requirements
– Comply with Drug & Alcohol policy
Qualifications / Skill Requirements
– Understanding of required system maintenance procedures relating to the specific contract you are aligned too.
– Previous working knowledge of appropriate systems
– Previous experience working within the LUL or Rail environment
Who you are:
We are seeking an Engineer with an understanding of planned or preventative fire maintenance (PPM) and ideally London Underground or Network Rail industry experience.
– This role is to work permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am.
– Previous experience in single or multi-site maintenance
– Experience within a Fire Maintenance – Fire Extinguisher environment or London Underground/Network Rail environment
– Full UK Driving Licence
– Drug & Alcohol testing is required for this role
