Telent are in a position to hire a Project Administrator to join the HPC Bridgwater team. You will have the opportunity to be a part of one of the UK’s largest and most prestigious nuclear programmes based in the Southwest of England. This Project Administrator role is an office-based role, with starting hours of either 08:00am or 08:30am.

As the Project Administrator, you will support the Project Team by performing administrative tasks such as managing schedules and keeping records up to date. This is an office-based role, that will see you with assigned daily activities to ensure compliancy with our project delivery requirements for quality, safety, and environmental standards, plus the Telent and client QEHS procedures.
Project Administrator – What you’ll do:
- Be the first point of contact for all enquiries from internal and external customers
- Ownership of administration support tasks, communication and system support for the team / function
- Effectively support with data gathering in a timely manner
- Maintain data within internal systems accurately, effectively, and in a timely manner to ensure it is fit for the team to use
- Support on ADHOC projects as and when requested for example, the ordering of materials
- Follow agreed governance guidelines, monitoring and reporting processes
- Assisting with planning and scheduling of the Project workstreams, and planning site specific activities
- Support and assist with any continuous improvement initiatives
- Support and assist the Project team with the business/technical change processes
- Liaise with relevant teams and interact with external suppliers to support business processes and procedures
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the filing and storing of Project documentation and Project records
- Support with organising and maintaining the storage of / retrieval of Project documentation, data and assets
- Support with the site handover documentation and processes
- Collating and circulating meeting documents in advance of any meetings, setting up the Visual Management Boards and capturing minutes during meetings when required
- Support the team in updating project databases and records
Project Administrator – Who you are:
The ideal Project Administrator will have come from an Administration background. This is a very fast paced role that will see you liaise with and support a range of internal stakeholders as well as our customer, so having the drive to provide the best service possible is important. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and be able to push back where needed and be able to handle multiple activities and workstreams at any one time. Lastly, the Project Administrator will have the opportunity to PROGRESS into a Project Coordinator position within 12-18 months.
Project Administration – Key requirements:
Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure
- Highly Competent use of Microsoft office packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge or previous / current experience of using Asset Management Systems (eg. ServiceNow)
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Good attention to detail and accurate data input
- Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations
- Awareness of Document Management Systems
- Institution of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH)
