Project Manager

Reporting into the Contract Services Manager and working on a newly awarded Fire Maintenance contract for TfL, the Project Manager (Additional Works Manager) will ensure all aspects of QEHS, budget, logistics, resource, planning, finance and customer relationships are delivered and meet the contracted requirements and scope.. It is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be in our Pirin Court (Canning Town, London) office 3 days per week.
- Provide day to day management and direction and support to the assigned Project Team, providing regular and effective communication and prioritisation.
- Identify areas for improvement in project performance to drive continuous improvement
- Determining and defining client project scope and objectives.
- Set up stage gate meetings such as project kick off meetings, project gate reviews (design, start on construction), project close out sessions as defined in the Project Execution/Mobilisation Plan
- Financial performance of assigned projects, including monitoring and reporting through designated systems and responsible for managing projects Profit and Loss accounts
- Providing support to bid submissions including Project Plans, Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions (RAID) log and method statement responses as required
- Present the monthly contract review paperwork to senior management on allocated projects.
Who you are:
You will have previous experience managing fast paced projects within the Fire industry, with good financial acumen and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working within the Fire industry is essential
- Excellent financial and commercial experience of managing project budgets
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Experience of managing complex customer and end user relationships
- Formal PM Qualification (APM, PMP, Prince 2) or equivalent experience.
