We are currently recruiting for a QEHS Manager, with behavioural safety and London Underground/Network Rail/ Rail standards experience, to join the Asset Management side of our business. Based from our office near Canning Town, this role requires flexibilty as working nights will be a requirement for this role.
QEHS Manager Key Requirements:
- Promote a positive QEHS culture to stakeholders and employees.
- Knowledge and experience of Behavioural Based Safety Practices
- Ideally have previous experience of working in a fire maintenance environment
- Must have extensive Rail knowledge; London Underground, London Overground, Crossrail/Elizabeth Line or Network Rail
- Hold a recognised industry Health and Safety qualification, e.g. NEBOSH General or equivalent
- Experience of developing working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and suppliers – essential
- Previous internal auditing experience
- Have a full UK driving licence
What you’ll do:
- Review and develop fire safety related policies, procedures, and practices.
- Help to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that are identified by the hazard analysis and risk assessment process for our Fire maintenance contract.
- Outline safe operating procedures, which identify and take account of all relevant hazards, and conducting suitable and sufficient risk assessments, ensuring Control measures are effective (fire detection/fire suppression)
- Deliver and drive the agreed QEHS Fire Key Performance Indicators.
Who you are:
The successful person will have previous QEHS Manager expertise, have knowledge and experience of behavioural safety practices along with London Underground and/or Network Rail / Rail industry experience.
