Quality & Information Coordinator

Job Purpose:
The Quality & Information coordinator provides support to NATS Operations across Quality Assurance and Information Management. You will primarily ensure management and maintenance of the Business Management System(s) and support delivery of Information Management services.

*This position will cover Operations at Swanwick, Prestwick and Whiteley and can be based at any suitable NATS location, and utilising flexible / hybrid working as required.

Other duties Include:

  • Act as an Operations Information Management co-ordinator for process documentation
  • Communicate with users about the Operations aspects of the current Management Systems (Business Management System (BMS) and Operations Management System (OMS)) and related documentation across Operations
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to Process Owners, Process Experts, document controllers and other staff
  • Support the administration and update of Management Systems
  • Ensure that appropriate processes are in place, and assist development of process documentation (forms, procedures etc) ensuring they are up to date and fit for purpose
  • Regular reporting to support information flow to and from local departments, and visibility of Information Management performance
  • Support the delivery of assurance against requirements and identifying areas for improvement
  • Support the provision of expertise, training and mentoring in Quality and Information Management topics across all of Operations as required

Essential skills and experience:

  • A-level or equivalent qualification (NQF level 3) in Business Management / IT related disciplines, or equivalent working experience
  • Broad knowledge and experience within a similar, large complex organisation
  • Good skills with IT applications, knowledge of Process Manager, SharePoint, Teams and other M365 products preferred. Experience with reporting tools such as QPulse, and Power BI is advantageous
  • Proven ability to network and build strong working relationships
  • Self-starter able to work and learn on own initiative, also operate as part of a small team
  • Close attention to detail to ensure data integrity
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • A proactive approach towards continuous improvement
