Senior Data Analyst

We’re on the lookout for three accomplished Senior Data Analysts to join our dynamic team! Specifically, we are seeking:

  • One Senior Data Analyst with operational expertise

  • One Senior Data Analyst with a go-to-market focus

  • One Senior Data Analyst with a regulatory focus, ideally with experience in the energy sector

All roles require exceptional Tableau skills and proficiency in Databricks.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll bring over six years of hands-on experience to the table, leveraging your mastery of Tableau to provide actionable insights crucial for strategic decision-making. If you have a knack for diving into operational intricacies or navigating regulatory landscapes within the energy sector, we want to hear from you!

Your role will involve collaborating closely with various teams, distilling complex requirements into robust data analytics approaches, and delivering impactful insights through compelling visualisations. Experience with Databricks is a must, and proficiency in leading small teams is advantageous.

  • Consultative Leadership: Spearhead initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop comprehensive data analytics solutions.

  • Data Mastery: Serve as a trusted data expert, utilising Tableau and other tools to deliver insightful analyses and uncover actionable insights.

  • Impact Driven: Demonstrate a passion for driving impact through data, delivering actionable insights that empower informed decision-making.

  • Insightful Storytelling: Communicate complex findings in a clear, compelling manner to senior stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture.

  • Technical Project Leadership: Take ownership of complex projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

  • Talent Development: Mentor junior analysts, fostering innovation and best practices within the team.

A bit about you:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Experience with advanced analytics techniques, including modeling and segmentation.

  • Strong visualisation skills, particularly with Tableau.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data pipeline architectures, such as Databricks, and platforms like AWS.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven track record of translating technical findings into actionable business insights.

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics).

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the energy retail sector.

  • Familiarity with Databricks.
