Service Management Support Coordinator

Job Purpose:

The Service Management Support Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that service management processes are developed, followed, measured, and improved to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the Technical Services division with NATS.

Duties Include:

  • Respond to queries and support requests across technical services for anything Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) related, and the wider Service Management Team.
  • Administration and maintenance of Service Management content, such as training, policies, guidance, references, and documents and their related standards
  • Check integrity of data provided by customers, querying where necessary.
  • Manage workload via service requests through a Service Request Tool and ServiceNow. Training will be given.
  • Managing the change process for locally generated controlled documentation ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Produce and ensure the integrity of the weekly ALM Statistics.
  • Managing the ALM Team inbox and responding to requests where necessary.
  • Maintaining Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Investigation and research on behalf of the team where necessary.
  • Provide admin support within the ALM Team.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Relevant experience working within a Service Management Framework or an organisation that aligns to the SM framework and the ability to apply their experience in any environment.
  • Experience of using SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA (ALM, and/or Plant Maintenance advantageous).
  • Works under routine direction. Uses limited discretion in resolving issues or enquiries. Determines when to seek guidance in unexpected situations. Plans own work within short time horizons.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Interacts with and may influence immediate colleagues. May have some external contact with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Performs a range of work activities in varied environments. May contribute to routine issue resolution. May apply creative thinking or suggest new ways to approach a task.
  • Has sufficient oral and written communication skills for effective engagement.
  • Understands and uses appropriate methods, tools, applications, and processes.
  • Demonstrates a rational and organised approach to work.
  • Security, privacy, and ethics - is fully aware of organisational standards. Uses appropriate working practices in own work.
  • Proficient navigating around web-based interfaces and applications.
  • Experience of transactional data entry and database systems.
