Role overview
Sitting within our Home Claims team, you’ll be acting as a technical expert within the team and being the first point of contact for colleagues needing advice, support and coaching on a claim.
Job Details:
- Supporting Home Claims in building the right capability in providing good customer and commercial outcomes by reviewing and monitoring outcomes/KPI’s (using data) and supporting improvements through technical development
- Maintaining new start training content as a subject matter expert and creating, maintaining and delivering all function specific technical training for the Home Claims department
- Conducting a training/coaching needs analysis using our operational framework
- Identifying and tracking technical needs and themes for individual colleagues and across the wider Home Claims department
- Completing regular cause audits and referrals to ensure that all work is being carried out to a high level of accuracy in line with our standard operating procedures
- Being the referral and escalation point for colleagues (or suppliers, where relevant) with technical queries
Essential skills we’d love you to have:
- Thorough technical understanding of Household Claims/Property Claims/Home Claims
- Previously experience of coaching team members, coaching models and understanding various ways to implement a good understanding of technical skills, regulatory requirements and company principles
- Great attention to detail with a systematic approach to managing your workload with a strategic thinking vision
