Level 3 Technician
Every time you pick up the phone, surf the Internet, travel on a motorway, catch a train, bus or tube, or even dial 999; chances are telent have enabled the technology to make this happen.
You’ll be providing maintenance activities to ensure effective restoration/repair of customer systems and all associated processes and reporting requirements are followed. You’ll be remotely diagnosing and interrogating communication system failures, using event monitoring tools and provide technical support to ensure effective restoration of customer systems.
What you’ll do:
- Complete Planned / Remedial / Corrective maintenance activities for advertising screens on the London Underground.
- You’ll be testing the equipment required to commission systems to specification.
- Undertake first and 2nd line maintenance activities.
- Support overall delivery of the works allocated, meeting requirements on time, of a high standard and aim for first time resolution.
- The job holder will be required to work from Pirin Court as part of a team on a 4 on 4 off day / days and nights as required.
Who you are:
You’ll have a combined IT service desk background with Test and Repair experience in Telecommunication/Communication Network System environments/products, Digital advertising display maintenance and servicing, London Underground, Network Rail TFL Infrastructural
Key requirements:
- Computer literate, familiar with application software such as Windows, Word, Excel.
- IT service desk experience or an understanding of how to make changes to IP Network addresses
- IRSE Telecoms Maintainer License – Desirable
- Good organisational skills, including multitasking and time management
- Full UK driving licence
