We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Treasury Transformation – Hedge Accounting Programme Delivery Lead.

Hedge accounting is a key accounting tool in the management of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and is a complex field involving; transaction booking, documentation, testing, life cycle events, p&l production, financial and regulatory reporting. As a large multinational bank with Treasury operations in multiple locations we are actively looking to enhance and improve our capabilities for hedge accounting across multiple products and locations.

You will be responsible for coordinating and driving this evolution and change on a global basis, working closely with teams from a variety of areas and expertise, driving the rollout of enhancements and new initiatives

This role will form part of the Treasury transformation leadership team and work collaboratively to implement the strategy and to achieve their ambitions.

In this role, you will:

* Collaborate closely with the program sponsor and senior business stakeholders to ensure the program outcomes are achieved.
* Support with the sponsor, senior stakeholders and program teams to develop a multi-year investment strategy with supporting strategic roadmap.
* Engage with and manage stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
* Manage program and project teams across business and technology to ensure optimal return on investment.
* Work with the sponsor, cross functional teams and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, plan and budget.
* Ensure compliance of program activities with internal change framework standards.
* Build and develop a high performing program team.
* Manage the end-to-end delivery plan; managing mapping and tracking of milestones and/or tasks.
* Ensure material changes to scope, schedule, budget or business case are managed through the change request process.
* Engage with relevant supplier teams and Product Owners to create an end-to-end delivery plan for [encapsulating all dependencies], for their respective scope.
* Obtain Sponsor agreement to baseline the plan, including definition of the critical path for delivery of each outcome.
* Identify and actively manage any key risks, issues or dependencies to delivering the baseline plan.
* Raise Change Requests where budget demand increases (as per Change control thresholds).

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

* Substantial experience in a Treasury business environment in a managerial role.
* knowledge of IRRBB risk management, particularly provision of IRRBB related MI and regulatory reporting, governance frameworks, and external regulatory environment.
* Relevant product knowledge with emphasis on banking book products, hedging frameworks, and metrics, across a combination of regulatory requirements and optimisation initiatives, with role-relevant qualifications, i.e. Accounting, Financial Analysis or similar.
* A broad understanding of financial budgets/ models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting.
* Demonstrable experience of directing, engaging and managing a team.
* Demonstrable experience of directing a large scale, complex cross-functional program involving technology as well as operating model change.
* Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority).

The preferred base location for this role will be London, however other UK locations will also be considered and with a hybrid working pattern.
