This role in a nutshell:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll manage the full-cycle recruitment process for specific role areas, ensuring alignment with business needs while delivering a positive candidate experience. You’ll engage with candidates and stakeholders in an authentic, purposeful, and empathetic manner, embodying OVO values throughout the recruitment process.


Your key outcomes will be:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, from sourcing and attraction to offer and onboarding.
  • Provide a seamless candidate experience, resolving basic queries and seeking guidance for more complex situations (e.g., offer rescinding, negative feedback).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, People Operations Managers (POMs), and team leads to understand hiring needs and deliver recruitment solutions aligned with departmental goals.
  • Maintain data accuracy across all recruitment platforms, including using reports in Greenhouse (GH) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Share relevant recruitment information internally, clearly and simply, to keep stakeholders informed and up to date.
  • Suggest improvements to recruitment processes and practices when appropriate.
  • Use recruitment data to manage individual hiring metrics, ensuring adherence to recruitment timelines and quality standards.
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition project groups, supporting broader team objectives.

You’ll be a successful TA Advisor at OVO if you…

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident in working with candidates and immediate stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business areas to deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, with experience managing data accuracy in recruitment systems like Greenhouse & Google Sheets.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the initiative to handle basic recruitment challenges and escalate more complex issues when necessary.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes, with a focus on maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Proactive – Suggesting process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and outcomes

We’ll pay you between £31,000 and £40,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!

We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.

You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%. We have one OVO bonus plan that focuses on the collective performance of our people to deliver our Plan Zero goal.
