Job Purpose and Summary

You will have the opportunity to manage all service delivery, operational performance of a specific geographical district and will have the support of a team of direct reports where you will need to maximise and develop their skills. Using your leadership skills you will ensure that the overall performance of the team works towards exceeding customer satisfaction, whilst improving on service revenue. Working to a defined project plan you will create and follow up yearly team plans to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved. You will ensure that you seek out process improvement opportunities to improve efficiencies and analyse reports to track progress. Your customer service skills and those of you team will be well defined as you monitor and develop improved customer and employee satisfaction. Resource management (including car-stock inventory) is under your remit where you will ensure that stock availability of the right quality and quantity of resources support business demands. Working across a number of internal business support functions you will work together to solve business and customer issues. Your strong relationship skills will be used when visiting customers and prospective customers to solve service business issues and explore new business opportunities. You will liaise with sales and marketing colleagues to maximize business opportunities.Ensuring that your team performs well you will effectively manage, lead, motivate, control and develop the staff within the unit by maximizing development of their skills (through monitoring training plans & counselling for employees) and will participate periodically in central project teams tackling more complex and strategic business issues. Self Development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills , you may need to become successful in this role.

What we ask

– Good knowledge of service operations, marketing and sales.

– Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

– Experience as a field service engineer is beneficial as well as Managerial experience in leading operational teams.

– A thorough knowledge of working in an operational product and service environment


Further Information

Salary- £42,203 to £44,548 + Bonus

Location – Area Based ( Essex / East Anglia )
