Our Finance Business Partners understand the business and communicate financial data and other information clearly, provide valuable financial advice, support, strategic insight, challenge and business solutions.
You will need to build strong relationships to enable effective strategic financial management and use those relationships to influence decision making and facilitate constructive challenge.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing an understanding of the business, its stakeholders and deliverables and building relationships.
- Translating, owning and adding insight to financial data to provide clear information and evidence to support business activities and requirements.
- Reviewing and providing input to business cases/ strategic documentation.
- Providing ad-hoc analysis and presentations to drive and support business decisions, such as efficiency and cost reduction options, using all available data and analytics tools.

Additional Information
This role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham or Swansea, your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. This role is suitable for hybrid working, and therefore a combination of workplace and home-based working can be accommodated subject to business requirements. Hybrid working is a non-contractual arrangement where employees have the flexibility to work remotely combined with a minimum of 60% of their working time a month at either their principal workplace (one of the locations cited in the advert) or, when required for business reasons, to carry out separate duties at alternative working locations or DVSA sites. There may be occasions where you are required to attend above the minimum expectation.

There will be occasional travel required with this role to other DVSA locations, including overnight stays.
