This is a fantastic opportunity to join Canon’s market and customer value proposition as well as drive new sales opportunities for the Solutions Team.

The Sales Enablement Specialist provides support across Canon Ireland acting as Subject Matter Expert and Business Developer for all of Canons Printing, Scanning, Solutions & Business Service products offered in the portfolio.

Connecting Sales & Marketing to support execution of sales enablement projects, opportunities development activities, customer engagements, sales pipeline development & market awareness programs.

Provide excellent service delivery of Canon services and software, ensuring exceptional levels of customer experience.

Own and manage projects through to completion in line with standard project methodology.

Ensuring key internal and external stakeholders are updated appropriately.

Manage own development to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to deliver.

What we ask

 

  • Successful candidate will have the skills to be customer facing and facilitate new business conversations around solutions alongside delivering sales wins.
  • Significant experience and success in Selling Complex Technical Solutions
  • Understanding customers technical requirements regarding the solutions being provided
  • Experience in software installation and configuration an advantage
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards the completion of a task.  Experience of managing multiple implementations of technology systems & workflow using a structured project management approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and demonstration skills, in particular report writing and ability to adapt communication style and techniques to ensure that complex information can be easily understood by a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge of the competitive environment and relevant product & solutions technology
  • Working and leading virtual teams to deliver successful projects
  • Must demonstrate competence in performing, advanced networking & relationship development
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Excellent MS Office and IT Skills

Output Management Experience – Advantage

  • Knowledge and experience of working with print imaging software and technologies
  • Knowledge and experience of working with leading print solutions e.g. uniFLOW, Papercut, Everyone Print, Kofax Control Suite.

Professional Print Experience – Advantage

  • Knowledge and experience working with production workflow, web to print, variable data, customer communications, and colour management solutions
  • Working knowledge of multiple data sources, print streams and page formats (incl. Printer languages, procedures)

Information Management Experience – Advantage

  • Knowledge and experience of working with Information Management Solutions e.g. Document Management Solutions, Customer Communications Solutions, Data Extraction/Scanning Solutions
  • Relevant product accreditations e.g. Therefore, M-Files, Documentum, Open Text

Working knowledge of multiple data sources, SQL and data manipulation

  • Assist Sales team to achieve sales targets across the solutions business
  • Initiate and engage in high value conversations to grow the uptake of Value Marketing Propositions
  • Being a positive ambassador for Canon, both internally and externally
  • To deliver the implementation of Canon’s solutions within agreed time scales, within budget and in accordance with the agreed deliverable and quality measures as defined by the Scope of Works (SoW) or Functional Specification Technical Design (FSTD).
  • Grade 1 – Usually single product specialism, basic configurations, IMACs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that relevant stakeholders are communicated to with regular updates during the implementation of any solutions projects. Communication to include; agreed timelines, daily project updates, change control requests, issue logging and resolution, and project closure emails.
  • Responsible for creating and updating site documentation after each solutions project and an effective handover to software support team including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Responsible for the escalation of product issues during the solution implementation project phases. Onward escalation in-line with current processes.  Retain ownership with customer until resolved. Manage the project in-line with project methodology, this includes managing risk, actions, issues, and dependencies through RAID logs, managing change by confirming the scope with the customer and invoking Change Requests, and where applicable, creating or updating Project Plans.
  • Grade 1 only – Audits – Install and configure auditing software, collect software audit and floor walking data for reporting purposes, create and deliver high quality audit reports. Responsible for managing the audit process including coordinating floor walking resources as required.
  • Training – Deliver administrator training or technical training as required.
  • Pro-actively develop and enhance the quality of Professional Services provided to Canon’s internal and external customers through the sharing of best practice, development groups and your own personal development.

 

 

 

Further Information

 

Contracted hours are 37.5 hours over 5 days. The role is primarily office based, with the ability to work from home two-day per week.

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
