Senior Server Infrastructure Engineer

£43,068 – £45,447 + 20% uplift

12 month fixed term contract. This role has the possibility to extend or become permanent in the future, depending on operational Needs

Reporting to the Tech Ops Manager, the post holder’s key responsibilities’ will include;

You will work with other technical engineers advising and planning the following: application security, licensing, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, servers and storage and ensure that all requests for support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures.

You will provide advice to support others on all elements of 365 environment including but not limited to, Sharepoint Online, One Drive, Azure, Power Apps, Flows, Power BI, Power Platform,

Being a Senior in the team, you will be expected to mentor the team in relation to the technical environment including technical documentation.

Monitoring the environment and ensure corrective and proactive actions are taken where required

You will be responsible for projects, understanding the customer requirements and work with the business to support the provision of effective solutions

The successful candidate will build and maintain effective working relationships with and across the department, force and partners on a daily basis, identifying, investigating and resolving issues proactively to ensure a stable environment for the force.

This role will participate in a contractual on-call rota.

You will be expected to undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.
