Milestone Infrastructure is the UK’s leading Highways Maintenance provider, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Street Lighting Electrician to work on our Wiltshire Council Highways and Street Lighting contract. Similar experience or related competencies will also be considered. It would also suit a candidate who is looking to develop a professional Career within the Construction Industry.

You will support the delivery of the Wiltshire Street Lighting Contract, delivering tasks in order to ensure quality, safety, profitability and client/customer satisfaction.

Key Areas and Responsibilities:

• Attend Emergencies in and out of hours and make site safe.
• Diagnostics and repair of faulty components to make effective repairs.
• Installation of lanterns and components that are end of life replacements.
• Carry out routine maintenance including Electrical Inspection and Testing.
• To visually and structurally inspect street lighting assets.
• To update Job Schedule and Inventory information on assets using PDA’s/Tablets.
• To log attendance within each unit.
• Act in accordance with all company and legislative Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are undertaken, and the vehicle is kept road worthy.
• To ensure members of the public are kept informed of works and are not put in danger due to works being undertaken.

Success Measures

• Comply with daily pre-task briefings are ensure these are completed and recorded.
• Ensure Faults are addressed and repaired in acceptable timeframes.
• Ensure Routine Maintenance is delivered on time and to costs.
• Quality of work is to acceptable standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/18001, HEA, Sector Scheme and NICEIC.
